Job Description


Our client is looking for a Vice President of Alliances to help build our alliances programs. This role is the face of their business in the partner ecosystem, marketplace and communities. This role will report to their SVP of Sales & Alliances and work closely with their Vice President of Business Development. The Vice President of Alliances is responsible for navigating, managing, executing, and optimizing their alliance relationships. The Vice President of Alliances will work in collaboration with their marketing team to increase brand awareness, support the growth of their business through and with alliance partners, and work with other leaders to create value-added offerings that differentiate and grow our clients company. Success in this role requires proactively developing sales opportunities by creating long-term relationships with the Salesforce sales and alliances organizations and positioning the company as the go-to partner for the type of work for which our client is the best in the ecosystem. 



Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Continue to cultivate the successful Salesforce partnership
  • Identify, develop and create relationships with the Salesforce channel in support of new services sales (new logos)
  • Ensure seamless transition hand-offs of qualified opportunities to the direct sales team
  • Drive and execute strategic account planning sessions with Salesforce
  • Build and uncover sourced pipeline through business development activities, account mapping, and white-space initiatives working with Salesforce 
  • Drive ongoing process improvement of alliance-related business development processes
  • Maintain effective relationships internally - Marketing, Operations, Project Delivery Services and leadership - to align all stakeholder interests and drive activity. 
  • May plan, promote, participate in and represent the Firm in events and community organizations where potential sales opportunities may be identified and developed.


Required Skills:

  • Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in partner-relationship building role or direct sales
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem (we are a Platinum Salesforce Partner)
  • Excellent communication skills and experience preparing and delivering presentations to Salesforce teams and executives while managing objections in real time 
  • Strong business acumen
  • Experience in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment
