Salesforce Admin


Our client is looking for an ambitious Salesforce Admin who can take their company to another level. As a Salesforce Admin, you will manage code
migrations and release management. You will also provide day-to-day support and administration and develop a solid understanding of sales department-specific business processes. You will also consistently monitor and maintain data integrity and system security in Salesforce.

This contract position is on-site in Hartford, CT. Candidates must be local to Hartford or willing to relocate.

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Create and manage users, profiles, roles and permission sets in Salesforce
  • Work with other Salesforce Administrators and Developers to implement changes within Salesforce, including custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow, validation rules, etc.
  • Provide day-to-day end user support and assist users with best practices to improve and increase their knowledge of Salesforce
  • Execute unit tests and write Apex test classes for code coverage.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure development quality

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field preferred, with a High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of SFDC admin experience
  • Expert in managing multiple environments, managing code migrations and release management.
  • Expert in creating/managing GIT
  • Strong exposure on APEX/Lightning to debug code conflicts and suggest recommendations.
  • Experience in code management & migration tools like AutoRABIT, GIT, VS Code, CLI, CheckMarx, PMD.
  • Strong experience in reverse engineering code and finding tech debt, recommend remediation to maintain platform
  • Strong in verbal and written communication and able to independently handle interactions with senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing needs based on their impact to the overall business
  • Strong preference for candidates who are certified
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment and manage agile task assignments
