Salesforce Technical Consultant

Summary:

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

As a Salesforce Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for partnering with the Lines of Business (LOBs), along with the IT and Vision Branding Team, in support of our 14 Business Processes. You will move our client forward on our journey to excellence. You will be a Leader in the implementation and execution of projects and new modules using Salesforce environments, integrating with other IT systems, and administering the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Pardot, Service, and Communities platforms.

This contract position is remote but will require a site visit for orientation. Candidates must be willing to travel Burr Ridge, IL (Suburb of Chicago).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of the Salesforce platform
  • Ensure proper security models are in place and maintained for data access, and conduct regular security/configuration audits
  • Partner with IT Web Developer, Vision Branding and Sales teams
  • Manage change sets between development sandboxes and production Salesforce environment
  • Be the technical subject matter expert on Salesforce platform and be the go-to person in communicating the appropriateness of Salesforce solution options from a technical perspective
  • Establish strong partnership and collaboration with Vision Branding Team and other business areas to drive Salesforce.com usage
  • Execute solution design activities such as data mapping, object modeling, page layout design, reporting/dashboards, record types, and workflow rule logic definition in the context of the Salesforce application
  • Stay current on new features of applications to ensure the Enterprise is utilizing Salesforce as effectively as possible
  • Demonstrate excellence in completion of all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 5+ years proven experience with Salesforce.com administration including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Pardot, and Communities
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities
  • 3+ years demonstrated ability with Salesforce.com implementation
  • Certified Salesforce Developer
  • 2+ years demonstrated experience in Salesforce integration with systems like SAP, OpenText, Portals and Product Configurators
  • Demonstrated understanding of Force.com concepts and architecture
